Join WMSI for a fun and educational workshop with a laser-focus on laser-engraving! Use WMSI’s laser engraving tools and beginner-friendly online design software to turn a piece of slate into a customized engraved coaster.
In this workshop you’ll design your own coaster, learn how to use a laser engraver, learn the process of treating and preparing slate for engraving, and explore the many ways laser engraving can help you in your classroom, your business, or your creative work.
Cost: $25 per participant
When: November 14th, 9:00am - 12:00pm
Where: The WMSI Makerspace
Best for: teens & adults — kids allowed with adult supervision (both parent and child must sign up)
No prior experience needed — just bring your curiosity!
